The compact crossover joins the larger F-Pace and the next all-electric E-Pace in the rapidly expanding range of the automaker, but the new models has its own distinct look. It features LED headlights similar to Those on the sports car type F, and a raked roofline it gives the appearance of a coupe. Thanks to Active Driveline technology, the E-Pace uses only four wheels when needed. The system can transfer almost all of the engine torque either to the front or rear axle under extreme conditions. Torque-based standard braking improves turns, and a low-speed cruise control automatically adjusts engine and brake settings to help drivers keep control in low-traction situations. Drivers can choose between four driving modes, including normal, dynamic, ECO, and rain, ice and snow.

Inside the cabin, the E-Pace has a standard 10.0 inch touch screen and very few buttons left on the dashboard. Buyers can opt for a 12.3-inch display dashboard and a new head-up display that projects bright, clearer graphics onto the windshield. Other features on the list include a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, navigation with real-time traffic and parking information, a tailgate to gesture control, and up to five USB recharge points.2018 Jaguar E-Pace interior

2018 Jaguar E-Pace Powertrain

This segment relies heavily on four-cylinder turbocharged engines, and the likely E-Pace will not be any different. The Discovery Sport and Evoque are both using the new Jaguar Land Rover Ingenium turbocharged four-cylinder in-line that makes 240 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. We expect the engine to be used here and for its power to be grounded by a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

2018 Jaguar E-Pace Arrival and Price

The 2018 Jaguar E-Pace should be unveiled this summer before going on sale in the winter.
